I am Axel Flores, the Co-owner and Tour Guide at Jaguar Journey. I hail from Oaxaca, and my journey brought me to Cancun eight years ago, driven by the dream of establishing my own tour company: “The Jaguar Journey.” I hold a degree in Tourism Management and a diploma in Mexican History and Archaeology. My professional background includes several years in the hospitality industry, where I gained invaluable insights into the significance of service in the realm of tourism.

Today, my heart lies in exploring Mayan sites, forging new friendships, spending time at the beach with my faithful companion, Luka. With a decade of experience under my belt, I invite you to place your trust in me and provide me with the opportunity to offer you a glimpse into the richness of my beautiful culture.

At Jaguar Journey, my goal is to ensure every guest has an unforgettable experience. What I love most about my job is meeting new people and sharing unique moments with them. I put my heart into every experience, making sure our guests leave happy, with great memories and a desire to return.

Working at Jaguar Journey is truly special. Every day, I learn something new from our guests, which inspires me to continue growing alongside the company.

Nizvan Ricárdez

Hello everybody!

I am Nizvan Ricárdez, a Systems Engineer and the web developer of the Jaguar Journey landing page. I’m a curious guy who loves programming, capturing the world through photography, and playing the piano. I share my days with two amazing pets: Capella, my restless cat, and Chicuquito, a naughty dog who is also my girlfriend’s beloved companion.

I’m always looking for new ways to learn, create, and grow!

Maya Guadarrama

I’m a communications specialist and part of the Jaguar Journey team, where I have the opportunity to do what I love: managing our social media, creating content, and connecting with the people who follow us. My work allows me to share ideas, experiences, and above all, to feel that what I do has an impact, even if it’s a small one.

One of my dearest projects is Biblionauta, born from my love of books. Through this space, I aim to share my passion for literature, with a special focus on the work of women writers and their literary contributions, which have often gone unrecognized in history. For me, it’s essential to give visibility to these voices that have enriched the literary world and have been key in shaping my own journey.
